Tender Overview

Queensland Rail is seeking a supplier to provide a mobile asset component traceability and management (software) solution, associated hardware (scanners), implementation services, and ongoing support and maintenance.
In alignment with enterprise strategic direction, the solution will support asset maintenance and management functions through the improved traceability and identification of rollingstock assets on its trains as well as the automation of key activities.
The solution is expected to be a mobile application that will integrate with Queensland Rail’s Enterprise Asset Management System (SAP Plant Maintenance), enabling users to scan Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) Tags attached to Queensland Rail’s assets, and displaying key asset information for multiple purposes including:
1. Display/ Change equipment records
2. Perform rollingstock asset compliance audits
3. Manage the removal and replacement of assets
In addition to the software and hardware requirement, it is expected that the supplier provides professional services to manage the design and implementation of the solution.
