Queensland Rail’s Caboolture and Corinda Feeder Station (FS) Renewal project aims to install and commission new, modern FS and yard equipment at Caboolture and Corinda to replace life-expired infrastructure. The new equipment will be compliant with current electrical safety and engineering standards and industry best practice.
The Scope of Work includes the design, supply, install, and pre-commissioning of three (3) power transformers at Caboolture FS to be entered immediately into service upon the completion of the Caboolture FS renewal project.
Please note, along with the Transformer supplier, a third-party Construction Integration and Switchgear Supplier will be involved in the delivery of the Caboolture site.
This tender aims to establish a Major Supply and/or Installation Contract with a suitably capable and experienced supplier for the Design, Manufacture and Supply of Power Transformers ensuring high quality service, achieved deadlines and value for money.
An optional site inspection will be held on Tuesday, 23 November 2021. Refer to attached Section A - Preamble, Item 5. Site Inspection for specific details.
