Section 1

Tender Overview

Queensland Rail is looking to engage one Contractor for the development and implementation of the changeover switching mechanism as part of the establishment of a Second Centralised Equipment Node. A project summary is included in the attached Section A – Preamble document.

Tenderers who wish to access the complete package of tender documents and are interested in submitting a response, please follow the below instruction:

  1. Tenderers are to email the nominated Contact Officer (Patricia.Navarro@qr.com.au) to register to access the tender documents and online response form in the Ariba Sourcing system.
  2. If the Tenderer elects to submit a tender response, they must do so by using the Ariba Sourcing system.
  3. Tenderers are encouraged to carefully read all documentation available for download in the Ariba Sourcing system to ensure the tender submitted meets all Queensland Rail’s requirements

Queensland Rail will only accept tender responses submitted via the Ariba Sourcing system.

For this tender (QRP-20-82 P1), the information uploaded on QTenders is not all the tender information, however, it is intended to assist suppliers / interested tenderers to determine whether the scope of works is suitable for their company profile and capability. All enquiries in relation to this tender must be made in writing to the Contact Officer above.

Note: An optional site inspection will be held from 7 December to 8 December 2021. The dates have been updated on the Preamble document.
