Tender Overview

Queensland Rail invites expressions of interest for the supply of a Shunt Tractor.

Respondents who are interested in submitting a response and would like to download all documents, please follow the instructions below:

  1. Respondents are to email the nominated Contact Officer (amanda.reid@qr.com.au) to register to access the documents and online response form in Ariba Sourcing. The documents are available for download.
  2. Respondes are encouraged to carefully read all documentation available for download in Ariba Sourcing.

Queensland Rail will only accept responses submitted in Ariba Sourcing.

For this Expression of Interest, Queenslnda Rail will provide the Preamble and Ariba Sorucing Supplier User Guide on QTenders for all QTender registered companies to review. The Respondent will need to determine if they would like to proceed to access the Expression of Interest in Ariba Sourcing.

This Expression of Interest is an opportunity for industry participation to supply a Shunt Tractor. An evaluation panel will assess response and recommend one or more suppliers to participate in a Request for Tender. Following the shortlisting, a closed Request for Tender will be completed. Non-participation in this Expression of Interest will affect a supplier's ability to supply a Shunt Tractor for this project.

Overview

Queensland Rail has a requirement for a shunt tractor that will operate at the Mayne Rail Complex in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. The shunt tractor will be used for the shunting of rollingstock through the wheel lathes and jacking roads.
