Tender Overview

The Queensland Government is seeking proposals to establish a Standing Offer Arrangement for Transportable Road Safety Camera Solution (ITO No. TMRICTSOA21161) focused on Platform Mounted (Transportable) Speed Camera Technology that will detect, record, investigate and process speed Offences in risk assessed areas for enforcement. The Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) in conjunction with the Queensland Police Service (QPS) are constantly exploring opportunities to improve road safety with an aim to achieve a vision of zero deaths and serious injuries on our roads.

The Solution components that the Supplier must provide under a managed service for Transportable Road Safety Camera Solution include:

  • Project Management including activity planning, resource management and coordination;
  • Development of Transition-In Plan ("Project Plan");
  • Supply and installation of Camera Systems (Hardware-as-a-Service);
  • Camera equipment together with associated energy supply and structural support for camera housings and associated equipment (Platform);
  • Provision of As-a-Service;
  • Telecommunication systems including data communications;
  • Integration to extract required data from the Solution; and
  • Ad hoc ICT Professional Services as required.

A Briefing Session will be held via video conference at 10:00am (AEST) on 19 January 2022. Suppliers wishing to attend this Briefing Session must notify the ICT Procurement Specialist by 10:00am (AEST) on 17 January 2022 in writing via email to register. It should be noted, the Briefing Session is not mandatory to attend.

Please note that the TMR Tender Moratorium Policy restricts procurement activities over the Christmas and New Year period, with no tenders to be released between 13 December 2021 and 7 January 2022. Although clarifications can be submitted during this period, responses may not be provided until the 10 January 2022 at the earliest.
