Tender Overview

INVITATION TO OFFER (ITO) AQ 030/2022 CI004 Central Energy Plant (CEP) OS3 Communications Room Upgrade - Technical Services and Disaster Office Refurbishment 

The State of Queensland represented by the Department of Communities, Housing and Digital Economy acting through Arts Queensland (the Principal) is seeking Tenders from PQC Eligible Tenderers (minimum PQC Level 3) to undertake the following building works project:

AQ 030/2022 CI004 Queensland Cultural Centre (QCC) Central Energy Plant (CEP) OS3 Refurbishment (the Project) involves:

  • Creating a permanent, compliant Communication room with all appropriate fire-rating and HVAC.  Relocation of all services currently connected to the temporary Communications room.
  • Consolidation of the existing amenities to provide Honeywell technical services staff with amenities and two workstations
  • Reconfiguration of the remaining area to provide a modern, accessible corporate office.

The Principal intends to appoint a Head Contractor (building) in the role of Principal Contractor who will be responsible for sourcing, engaging and managing all the appropriate and required industry/trade specialised sub‑contractors required to complete the works.

SPECIAL NOTES:

Mandatory Industry Briefing (MIB) applies to this ITO and attendance is mandatory - refer applicable MIB section in ITO. Tenderers Note: Due toCOVID-19 and safety requirements, virtual Industry Briefing session will be delivered by the Principal via Microsoft Teams. Potential Tenderers are responsible for ensuring appropriate MIB registration. Refer to section "Mandatory Industry Briefing" of the ITO.

Mandatory Site Inspection.  Site Inspection will be made available only to Tenderers who attended the MIB. Refer to section "Site Inspection" of theITO.

Potential Tenderers must be listed on the Project specific AQ 030/20202 Prequalified (PQC) System "Eligible Tenderer Report" - refer applicable PQC Eligible Tenderer Report section in ITO.

Financial Capacity Assessment (FCA): Potential Tenderers are advised that a FCA will be conducted as part of the Principal's evaluation process - refer applicable FCA section in ITO.
