Tender Overview

OVERVIEW OF GOODS/SERVICES

Queensland Rail operates an extensive rail network across Queensland, providing suburban and long-distance services across the state. As part of that railway operation, Queensland Rail has 156 suburban stations, 12 stabling yards, numerous depots, and critical equipment rooms located across South East Queensland (SEQ).

To facilitate safe access and in compliance with relevant laws and legislations, height safety systems have been installed on roof structures at locations across SEQ. These systems require ongoing service and inspection to be certified for use.

The following systems are currently installed across Queensland Rail sites:

  • Static Line systems suitable for multiple concurrent users equal to SAYFA travel8 static line system
  • Access ladders and stabilising systems equal to SafetyLink Froglink anchor
  • Access ladders and stabilising systems equal to SAYFA Vertical Line Ladder
  • Anchor systems equal to SAYFA 3Sixty Top Mount system.

There is a requirement to engage a Contractor to undertake the service and maintenance of existing height safety systems installed throughout the Queensland Rail network in SEQ.
