Tender Overview

SECTION 1 – Background

This Expression of Interest (EOI) RTCNS 05/22. The State acting though the Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) will seek Expressions of Interest (EOI) from Indigenous Businesses, to undertake construction works as part of Yarraden to Three Sisters – Part A.

The PDR ILUA defines an Indigenous Business, as any business recognised and validated by the Department of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Partnerships as an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander enterprise.

This EOI is seeking expressions from Indigenous Businesses interested in providing subcontract services to RoadTek for portions of the upcoming Yarraden to Three Sisters – Part A.

TMR is seeking expressions from Indigenous Business which have the capability to undertake the works; TMR is also seeking expressions from emerging Indigenous Business, interested in developing their capability and experience.

An EOI process is a 2 (two) stage process. This is the 1st (first) stage of these 2 (two) stage process. In the 1st (first) stage, Indigenous Businesses will be able to register their interest in providing subcontract works to RoadTek. The subcontract works are listed in Section 4 – Specifications of this EOI document; by completing and submitting Section 9 – Submitters Response Form.

RoadTek will then evaluate the submissions in accordance with Section 5 – Evaluation Requirements of this EOI document; this evaluation process will shortlist the submissions received for each of subcontract works listed in Section 4. Submitters will be notified if unsuccessful in the 1st Stage.

Subcontract packages of work for Yarraden to Three Sisters – Part A

Culverts and Drainage Works

  • Installation of Reinforced Concrete Pipe Culvert components, 5 locations, multi cell
  • Installation of Reinforced Concrete Box Culvert components, 1 location, multi cell with concrete spanning slab
  • Installation of Corrugated Steel Pipe Culvert components, 2 locations, multi cell
  • Concrete Works – Form and Place (Bases, Aprons and End Structures)
  • Supply and Installation of Rock Protection and Steel Wire Mattress works – 945m3
  • Supply and Installation of Concrete for Bases, Aprons, End Structures, Concrete Batters, Shotcreting around drainage structures

Cartage/Transport

  • Quarry Products
  • Culvert components

Site Preparation

  • Installation of Site Fencing
  • Installation and Erection of Project Banners

Site Works

  • Installation and Removal of Signs
  • Installation of Broadcast Seeding
