The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for tender submissions for the design and construction of an upgrade to the automotive workshop at Glenmore State High School, located at the Cnr Bruce Highway and Farm Street, Rockhampton North, QLD, AU, 4701 as part of the School Infrastructure Enhancement (SIE) program.
The work include significant upgrades to the existing metal clad building, new plant and equipment to create an automotive workshop, including a new covered outdoor work space, new fittings, fixtures, services and finishes. The position of the building is at the rear of the school with limited ample working space and easy site access. All works are to be completed by the end of June 2022
Tender submissions will be accepted from contractors that meet the following requirements:
- Appropriate QBCC Builders licences to undertake the entire scope of works
- Professional Indemnity Insurance to the value of $ 1 million
QBCC Licensing and Professional Indemnity Insurance
It is anticipated that a minimum of a QBCC (Low Rise) builders’ licence will be required for this project. Contractors are required to hold Professional Indemnity Insurance in accordance with the contract.
