The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for tender submissions for the design and construction of an amenities refurbishment at Glenmore State High School, located at Cnr Bruce Highway and Farm Street, Rockhampton North, QLD 4701, as part of the Refresh program.
The works includes removal of all asbestos ceilings, soffits, toilet partitions, new epoxy flooring, new toilet partitions, ventilation screens, painting and new fitments to the existing Block D amenities. The position of the building is at the side of the school with limited site access and working space. All works are to be completed by August 2022.
Tender submissions will be accepted from contractors that meet the following requirements:
- Appropriate QBCC Builders licences to undertake the entire scope of works
- Professional Indemnity Insurance to the value of $ 1 Million
QBCC Licensing and Professional Indemnity Insurance
It is anticipated that a minimum of a QBCC (Low Rise) builders’ licence will be required for this project. Contractors are required to hold Professional Indemnity Insurance in accordance with the contract.
