Tender Overview

The Queensland Government is seeking an Expression of Interest for Land Restoration for National Red Witchweed Eradication Program.

This is not a formal request for quote process however the information you provide will assist us in determining requirements and indicative budgets for a future Request for Quote. This future request for quote will then result in a contractual agreement with certain parties to deliver the requirements over the next few years.

Inclusion in this process and attendance at the industry briefing is a mandatory requirement to be considered further for the future Request for Quote. There are no site visits planned to infected areas due to privacy for the landowners.

The Program is seeking local suppliers who have the relevant capability, experience and capacity to supply the goods and services detailed in the scope to successfully deliver the land restoration project within estimated timelines. Suppliers can nominate to undertake all or only a proportion of the proposed activities, dependent on their capability and capacity.

The potential future contract will cover plant and trucks and materials (including gravel/stone, topsoil and fill)

Suppliers are invited by the Customer to submit an expression of interest to attend an industry briefing. After the briefing, suppliers will be asked to provide information regarding their capability and capacity for delivery of the proposed restoration activities, their status as a local supplier, indicative costings to inform the budget and any other information relating to the proposed activities.
