Tender Overview

The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for tender submissions for the design and construction of an equitable access footpath at Boyne Island State School, located at 151 Malpas Street, Boyne Island QLD 4680, as part of the Education for All (Ed4All) program.

The works include the construction of new stairs, accessible ramp, stair lift, footpath and landscaping to provide equitable access from the covered eating area to the sports oval. The position of the work site is at the rear of the school ample working space and easy site access. All works are to be completed by 21 October 2022.

Tender submissions will be accepted from contractors that meet the following requirements:

  • Appropriate QBCC Builders licences to undertake the entire scope of works
  • Professional Indemnity Insurance to the value of $ 1 million

QBCC Licensing and Professional Indemnity Insurance

It is anticipated that a minimum of a QBCC (Low Rise) builders’ licence will be required for this project. Contractors are required to hold Professional Indemnity Insurance in accordance with the contract.
