Section 1

Tender Overview

Neil Scales, Director-General of the Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR), invites you to an industry briefing on the program of works announced under the Queensland Transport and Roads Investment Program (QTRIP) 2022–23 to 2025–26.

The department will host four separate events across Queensland, with limited capacity at each location. The details for each event are outlined below:

23 August 2022, QTRIP Industry Briefing Brisbane (in-person 150 tickets available and livestream) at 61 Mary Street, Brisbane from 9:30am – 12:30pm.

24 August 2022, QTRIP Industry Briefing Toowoomba (in-person only 200 tickets available) at Highfields Cultural Centre, O'Brien Road, Highfields from 9:30am – 12:30pm. 

25 August 2022, QTRIP Industry Briefing Rockhampton (in-person only 200 tickets available) at Rockhampton Leagues Club, Cambridge St, Rockhampton from 9:30am – 12:30pm.                                         

26 August 2022, QTRIP Industry Briefing Townsville (in-person only 200 tickets available) at Country Bank Stadium, 2 Pride Close, Railway Estate from 9:30am – 12.30am.

The 2022 QTRIP Industry Briefing will be hosted by Dennis Walsh, Acting Deputy Director-General (Infrastructure Management and Delivery) and will outline current and future departmental initiatives, an update on the Transport System Planning Program, the Collaborative Transport Infrastructure Program, and Maritime Safety Queensland. As well as presentations from TMR's Regional Directors highlighting significant projects and packages of work to be released to industry during 2022–23, the likely budgets available and the timing of the work entering the market.  

Following the conclusion of these events, all presentations and the recorded Brisbane livestream will be uploaded onto TMR's QTRIP website, and ready for viewing between Friday 26 of August until Friday 30 September.

If you would like to attend one the above detailed events in person or view the livestreamed Brisbane event, please register for the 2022 QTRIP Industry Briefing via Eventbrite. Should you register for the Brisbane livestream event, links to the event will be sent to the provided email address prior to the event.

Registration for the in-person events will close at 5pm on the 12 of August 2022.

Registration for the Brisbane livestream event will close at 9.30am on the 23 of August 2022.

Please do not attend the in-person event if you are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms.
