Section 1

Tender Overview

The Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) is seeking proposals for a trial of active transport counters with real-time displays. 

The project is to undertake a trial of automatic permanent active transport counting units with real time data display for 4 months in order to monitor performance and conduct a detailed evaluation for each of the counting units and real time display based on various criteria for suitability to Queensland environment.

The trial will identify a limited number of suitable locations in Brisbane and Cairns region.

Supplier may submit an Offer for:

  • Separable Portion 1 – Counters; and/or
  • Separable Portion 2 – Displays.

The Invitation to Offer includes the following documents:

1. TMRICT22051 - Request for Proposal v1.1 FINAL. Suppliers are to read and complete.

2. TMRICT22051 PART B - QITC Draft Contract (general-contract). Suppliers are to mark-up with any proposed changes and return.

3. TMRICT22051 PART B - QITC Draft Contract (general-contract), Attachment A - Functional and Non-Functional Requirements (Supplier Response) v1.0 Suppliers are to mark-up with any proposed changes and return.

4. TMRICT22051 PART B - QITC Draft Contract (general-contract), Appendix A - Potential Site Locations. Suppliers are to read.
