Section 1

Tender Overview

The Queensland Government is seeking Proposals from qualified professionals to undertake LiDAR land survey's for a gully remediation project.  These services specifically include:

  1. Contract Scope
    • Conduct UAV missions over ‘Spyglass Research Station’ and ‘Retreat Station’ to capture detailed elevation information of a gully complex and their contributing catchments, safely and in accordance to all relevant regulations.
  2. Requirements and Deliverables
    • Develop a detailed georeferenced Digital Elevation Model (DEM), 0.1m2 resolution or better, over a gully complex and their contributing catchments(LiDARCaptureArea.kml to accompany contract). The resolution for the contributing catchments can be of a coarser resolution but no less than 1m2. The initial area may be subject to change as better data becomes available.
    • Supply data used to develop the DEM (raw and processed point clouds).
    • Relevant information to support the interpretation of the DEM must be provided including an accuracy report and ground control locations.
    • If contract is extended, a detailed DEM will be required over gullies that are treated, approximately 40ha over years 2025 and 2026.
    • Mission planning documents must be supplied to the customer and approved before survey can begin.
  3. Key Personnel and Role in Contract Services
    • The supplier must provide a UAV pilot and spotter (if required). The pilot must fly and broadcast their location as per regulation and standard aerial surveying techniques must be applied to ensure a high quality product.
    • The customer will provide information to support decisions of where to conduct the survey and staff to direct the customer to the appropriate location.
    • The customer will liaise with landholders on which the survey will take place to acquire their permission and understanding of the survey
