DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORT AND MAIN ROADS

YEPPOON ROAD UPGRADE – EXPRESSION OF INTEREST

Prequalified TMR Road Construction Contractors at levels R3 / B1 / F50 and above are invited to submit an Expression of Interest (Stage 1) in the Yeppoon Road Upgrade project on the Rockhampton-Yeppoon Road.

The evaluation process begins with Expression of Interest (Stage 1) and a select number of short-listed Applicants will proceed to Invitation to Tender (Stage 2). The contract is a TIC(CO).

                                                                                                 

Major works include 6.1km extension of the rural duplicated section of Rockhampton – Yeppoon Road, upgrade of Dairy Inn Road / Artillery Road, Cabbage Tree Creek Road, Iron Pot Road Intersections and a replacement of existing drainage structures.

A component of this project is classified as ‘building work’ under the Queensland Building and Construction Commission Act 1991 (Qld) (QBCC Act). Contractors must meet this requirement.

A Mandatory Pre-lodgement meeting will be held for CN-18713. Due to COVID-19 restrictions and issues, the meeting will be via TEAMS. Interested parties are requested to email PM_YRU@tmr.qld.gov.au. Details of the meeting are below:

Invitation & Agenda will be sent:             Friday 9 September 2022.

Mandatory Pre-lodgement meeting:    10:30am (EST) Monday 12 Sept 2022.
