Tender Overview

Queensland Rail wishes to advise of an Expression of Interest opportunity for project QRP-22-95 Battery Electric Locomotives.

This EOI has been released to the market via QTenders from Mpnday 12th September 2022.

OVERVIEW OF SERVICES

The purpose of the EOI is to provide the market with an opportunity to present their solution to replace the 1720 diesel electric locomotives with battery electric locomotives. 

PROCESS OVERVIEW

  1. Respondents who wish to access the EOI documents must have a SAP Ariba network account and register the account to do business with Queensland Rail to enable visibility of your Ariba profile. To register, refer to the Ariba Registration for Suppliers guide. You must also then register interest by emailing the Contact Officer (amber.hunt@qr.com.au) providing the following details:
    1. Name of Tendering Organisation
    2. Ariba Network ID (ANID)
    3. ABN
    4. Name of Tender Representative
    5. Email address of Tender Representative
    6. Phone number

Queensland Rail will only accept responses submitted via the Ariba Sourcing system.

For this EOI (QRP-22-95), The information uploaded on QTenders is not all the information, however it is enough information for the suppliers / interested tenderers to determine whether the scope of works is suitable for their company profile. If a company is interested, please follow the above-mentioned steps.

  1. Ariba Sourcing, Queensland Rail’s tendering system, is the only tendering tool that must be used to submit their responses. Queensland Rail will not accept any physical responses or responses via the Queensland Government QTenders website.
  2. Refer to the attached document Ariba Guide for Suppliers for instructions on how to navigate Ariba Sourcing (once your interest has been registered).
