Tender Overview

The Queensland Government is seeking a professional grounds / landscaping company to provide high standard professional sports field and facilities ground maintenance services at Townsville Sports Precinct (TSP).

General duties required include, but not limited to:

  • Mowing, whipper snipping and edging of grassed areas
  • Garden bed and shrubbery maintenance incl. mulching, weeding, hedging, and pruning
  • Blowing down pathway and deck areas
  • Weed spraying/management of all areas
  • Green area pest control – Ants, Grubs etc.
  • Aeration, scarification/dethatching and top dressing of sports fields
  • Sports field and general grass area fertilising
  • Sports field soil analysis
  • Sports field line marking
  • Goal post, padding, reserve bench setup and pack down 
  • Maintaining of track and field sand pits 
  • Minor irrigation repairs incl. split lines and sprinkler head replacement.
