Tender Overview

Standing Offer Arrangement for State Wide Vegetation Maintenance

This Forward Procurement Notice is to advise potential suppliers of Powerlink's intention to release an Invitation to Tender (ITT) via QTenders to the open market.  Expected release date is early October 2022 with commencement of the services under the SOA to be 1 July 2023.  A compulsory tender briefing is scheduled for end October 2022.

It is Powerlink's intention to establish a Standing Offer Arrangement (SOA) with an experienced and capable Contractor for the provision of vegetation maintenance services.  Powerlink has delineated the state wide works into four 'Work Area's' within which, the Contractor will provide holistic vegetation management services for a defined multi-year period.  It is Powerlink's intention to appoint a single Contractor to each Work Area under which Powerlink can allocate an annual works program and additional ad-hoc works.  Powerlink may appoint tenderers to one (1) or more Work Areas.

The scope of services required within each allocated Work Area includes but is not limited to :

a) Routine vegetation maintenance;
b) Condition based vegetation corrective actions;
c) Site access works;
d) Site rehabilitation; and
e) Retaining sufficient resources to ensure completion of the annual works program and ad-hoc works as and when required.

Due to the highly sensitive nature of documentation contained within the ITT, the document distribution will be made available in two (2) stages, with Stage One documentation containing a Confidentiality Agreement and Objective Connect Workspace Request.

Stage Two documentation will only be provided upon receipt of the signed Confidentiality Agreement and Objective Connect Workspace Request.

Any communication with Powerlink in relation to this Forward Procurement Notice should be in writing directed to contracts@powerlink.com.au.
