Expressions of Interest - Seqwater Collaborative Asset Services (04983EOI)
Seqwater is a Queensland Government statutory authority responsible for ensuring a safe, secure, and reliable bulk drinking water supply for over three million people across Southeast Queensland (SEQ). Seqwater is one of Australia's largest water businesses, with the most geographically spread and diverse asset base of any capital water authority.
The operations and maintenance (O&M) of critical water infrastructure assets and non-water infrastructure (as a fundamental support function and input into capability) is a vital business area and of strategic focus to Seqwater due to its impact on cost, asset efficiency and the organisation's ability to extract greater value across its asset lifecycle.
Seqwater is currently delivering its existing O&M services through contracted parties utilising various contractual methods, namely self-performance third-party contracts, collaborative arrangements, or alliance arrangements.
Seqwater has since invested significant efforts in improving its O&M management and strategy to stay cost-competitive and to improve its operational excellence. With the impending expiry of some of its primary service agreements, Seqwater is going to market adopting an incentivised hybrid alliance contract arrangement to procure one or multiple service provider(s) for the Seqwater Collaborative Asset Services (SCAS). The SCAS includes two (2) packages of work. They are:
- Asset Services
- Intergrated Facilities Management
