WorkCover Queensland (WorkCover) invites supplementary tenders from suitably qualified and experienced medical specialists in the following specialty areas to join the WorkCover panel of Independent Medical Examiners (IME):
- Pain Physicians
- Neurosurgeons
- Neurologists
- Psychiatrists
- Thoracic / Respiratory Physicians
WorkCover conducted a public invitation to offer (ITO) for IME panel members in 2021 but is experiencing high demand in the nominated specialties.
New panel members, once selected, will be required to agree to a contract which is included in this ITO for your review.
The contract will commence from date of execution by both parties and end on 30 June 2024, with an option to extend for a further 12-month period (to 30 June 2025).
Responses to this ITO can be submitted to tenders@workcoverqld.com.au at any time until the closing date below. Interested parties are encouraged to submit a tender response as quickly as possible as WorkCover will review responses and appoint new members at regular intervals until the nominated closing date.
This tender will formally close to new applicants at 2.00pm Queensland Time on Tuesday 31 January 2023.
Suppliers whose responses meet requirements will be offered contracts for signature and return before being appointed to the IME panel.
