Tender Overview

Energy Queensland Limited (EQL) will be seeking proposals for EQL Supply and Delivery of Surge Arresters via SAP Ariba in November 2022.

Background and Scope:

Surge arresters are a product required for use within distribution and substation transformers (11kV to 132kV) across the Energy Queensland’s network.  Surge arresters provide our overhead transmission and distribution networks protection against voltages spikes to the distribution lines which can cause damage to the network.  The surge arresters are to be delivered to each of the major warehouses across North, South and South-East Queensland.

All relevant documentation (including the proposed Agreement and Response Schedules) are anticipated to be available from EQL's online tendering tool (SAP Ariba) in November 2022 (a date yet to be confirmed).

Tenderers who wish to submit a response need to be registered as a Supplier on SAP Ariba.

  1. Tenderers will be required to register with SAP Ariba by sending an email to the nominated Contract Officer suzie.bramham@energyq.com.au. .
