Section 1

Tender Overview

TAFE Queensland is seeking Proposals for an Bundamba MTMRC & Smart Factory.

South West region has a wide foot print with campuses in Ipswich, Toowoomba, Kingaroy, Dalby and Roma. With aging equipment and the need to replace Computer Numerical Control CNC Lathe and Milling plant to meet Industry training needs for current apprentice and emerging advanced manufacturing.

Due to the distance and the inefficiency in purchasing equipment for multiple location, the Smart Factory option has been deemed the most appropriate and cost-effective way for South West to train current apprentices in the latest CNC machining process while incorporating Advance Manufacturing opportunities.

TAFE Queensland is seeking to use this ITO to establish a Supply Arrangement in relation to the category nominated above.
The arrangement/s for the supplier and delivery of the Smart Factory will be for an initial Term of one (1) year.
The software arrangement/s will be for an initial Term of two (2) years with the option to extend for a further Additional two (2) Periods of two (2) year but not exceeding a Maximum Term of five (6) years.
The details as to how such Contracts are to operate and how any such extension is to be granted are contained in the attached Contract in Part 4 of this ITO.

ITO now closing at 2pm AEST on the 6th January 2023.
