ADDENDUM #1 - Amended items underlined:

INVITATION TO OFFER: AQ 021/2023 CIW15 Queensland Performing Arts Centre (QPAC) Lyric Theatre Orchestra Pit Lift Upgrade and Other Works – Building Contractor

The State of Queensland represented by the Department of Communities, Housing and Digital Economy acting through Arts Queensland (the Principal) is seeking Tenders from Building Contractors to undertake the following three (3) building works packages:

Work Package 1: QPAC Lyric Theatre Orchestra Pit Lift System Upgrade.  The scope of work includes:

  • Removal of the existing lifting columns and motors
  • Supply, delivery and installation of the new equipment
  • New control system
  • Commissioning, testing and training.

Work Package 2: QPAC Lyric Theatre Bombay Doors Hoist Project.  Refer ITO document for full details of scope.

Work Package 3: QPAC Playhouse Sound Door Hoist Refurbishment. Refer ITO document for full details of scope.

The Principal intends to appoint a Contractor (building) in the role of Principal Contractor who will be responsible for sourcing, engaging and managing all of the appropriate and necessary industry/trade specialist sub‑contractors required to complete the works.

SPECIAL NOTES:

  1. Mandatory Industry Briefing (MIB) applies to this ITO and attendance is mandatory - refer applicable MIB section in ITO.
  2. Site Inpsection (Mandatory). Mandatory Site Inspection will be made available only to Tenderers who attended the MIB. Refer to section "Site Inspection" of the ITO.
  3. PQC Eligigibility. Potential Tenderers must be listed on the Project specific AQ 021/2023 Prequalified (PQC) System "Eligible Tenderer Report" - refer applicable PQC Eligible Tenderer Report section in ITO.
