BackgroundThis is a Forward Procurement Notice to advise potential Suppliers that a Request for Information has been issued Display EQL2021560RFI (epw.qld.gov.au). Suppliers must be pre-registered within SAP Ariba to submit a response (refer to “How to Respond” below). Energy Queensland Limited (EQL) is seeking information regarding potential solutions for a Unified Network Telecommunications Management Tool that is capable of supporting a telecommunication network that utilises both older and newer technologies. The solution is expected to replace two (2) existing legacy software systems that manage the records for telecommunication network assets within EQL and improve overall EQL business productivity by moving to a common engineering toolset, which also provides features to facilitate improvements to the overarching asset management of the combined telecommunications networks:
In the future, the solution will integrate with EQL’s Asset and Works Management, Geographical Information System (GIS) and Grid Planning systems to improve forward planning and align Network Telecommunications projects with Distribution and Transmission network projects. ScopeEQL has issued a Request for Information (Display EQL2021560RFI (epw.qld.gov.au)) to investigate software solutions that can provide the following functionality to support the telecommunication network:
