Tender Overview

The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for tender submissions for the design and construction of a new modular PWD Amenities, Paths & Ramps at Denison SS , located at 16 Gray Street, Emerald QLD 4720, as part of the Ed4All (ED4ALL) program.

The works include the design, supply and install of a new modular amenities for PWD use, the construction of new concrete access ramps to classrooms with new handrails and the construction of a new rubber walkway to the external play area. The position of the building is in the middle of the school with limited site access and working space. All works are to be completed by the end of June 2023

Tender submissions will be accepted from contractors that meet the following requirements:

  • Appropriate QBCC Builders licences to undertake the entire scope of works
  • Professional Indemnity Insurance to the value of $ 1 Million·

QBCC Licensing and Professional Indemnity Insurance

It is anticipated that a minimum of a QBCC (Low Rise) builders’ licence will be required for this project. Contractors are required to hold Professional Indemnity Insurance in accordance with the contract.
