Section 1

Tender Overview

The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for tender submissions for the design and construction of the Block L (Stage 2)
project at Noosa District State High School – Cooroy Campus located at Tulip St, Cooroy QLD 4563


The project consists of the refurbishment and reconfiguration of a portion of L Block into 2 offices, a sensory room and a
breakout space. The works consists of new carpet and vinyl flooring, new ceilings, new lights and fans, new kitchettes and
internal painting to the Block. The position of the building is at the back of the school with limited site access and working
space. All works are to be completed by June 2023.


Tender submissions will be accepted from contractors that meet the following requirements:
• Appropriate QBCC Builders licences to undertake the entire scope of works
• Professional Indemnity Insurance to the value of $ 1,000,000.00


QBCC Licensing and Professional Indemnity Insurance
It is anticipated that a minimum of a QBCC (Low Rise) builders’ licence will be required for this project. Contractors are
required to hold Professional Indemnity Insurance in accordance with the contract.
