Tender Overview

The Department of Energy and Public Works – Queensland Government Procurement) currently manages a cross jurisdictional standing offer arrangement (SOA) QGP0038-17 for the Short Term Rental of Motor vehicles on behalf of participating jurisdictions including the following states within Australia: Queensland, Victoria, New South Wales, and South Australia; and also the New Zealand Government (for rentals when in Australia);

This SOA commenced in March 2018 and is due to expire 28 February 2024.

The responsibility for the future tender/sourcing process for these services will transfer from Qld Government to NSW Government. Ongoing management of the current SOA will remain with Qld Government until its expiry.   

Suppliers who are interested in responding to future tenders related to the provision of motor vehicle hire services are encouraged to register on the NSW Government’s eTendering website in order to be informed about new business opportunities.
