Section 1

Tender Overview

The Darling Downs Hospital and Health Service is seeking Proposals for the Design and Construction of Staff Accommodation, Offices, meeting rooms etc in the Rush Building.

The intent of the project is to allow the reinstatement of the building to a level that will allow the Darling Downs Health to occupy and maintain a heritage listed building to an acceptable standard in line with the Queensland Government guidelines and community expectations.

The project will also address several issues identified within current building assessment reports. In conjunction with addressing the issues with the building, the project will also deliver additional mixed-use spaces on the Toowoomba Hospital Baillie Henderson campus. The Project will fall within the current Ministerial Infrastructure Designation for the site.
