Tender Overview

Powerlink Queensland is seeking Expressions of Interest for Architectural Design Services for the Oil Laboratory Modernisation Services.

Powerlink provides transformer oil testing, SF6 gas testing and diagnostic services from their on-site laboratory at their head office complex at Virginia.  Working from the Oil Lab, Powerlink’s chemists, scientists and professional engineers deliver accurate information and recommendations to their national and international customers, enabling them to make decisions on how to best maintain and operate their transformers and other electrical assets.

Powerlink are planning to construct a new standalone building to accommodate the Oil Lab in the vicinity of the existing vehicle wash bay in the north eastern corner of their Virginia site.

Powerlink requires an architect to provide architectural and interior design and documentation services from pre development approval through to completion of construction.

The Expression of Interest (EOI) process constitutes the first stage of a two-stage procurement process.  The two-stage procurement process enables the Principal to evaluate the Respondent’s capabilities to provide the Principal’s requirements without requiring all Respondents to incur the additional costs involved with the preparation of fully detailed tenders. Only successful Respondents will be subsequently provided the opportunity to submit a tender for the contract to provide the Principal’s requirements.

For detailed information on the specific goods / services sought under this tender, please review the "Specification Documents" in "Section 3 - Here is the detail".
