Section 1

Tender Overview

The Queensland Government is seeking Expressions of Interest for Emergency Incident Management Systems (EIMS). It includes Licensing, Infrastructure, Project Implementation and Support.

QFES would like to procure and implement an Emergency Incident Management System (EIMS) under the AIIMS framework, to enable faster incident reporting, resource allocation, and coordination. Quicker response times reduce the duration of each incident, minimising impact on life, property, and the environment.

Communication and collaboration among incident responders means better situational awareness through information sharing, coordinated decision-making and response.

QFES seeks to engage through this EOI experienced EIMS suppliers with quality, proven and innovative products with future-ready capabilities and a clear roadmap for advances in end-user devices, networks and operational technology.

The successful supplier(s) will need to cater for more frequent and intense extreme weather events, Queensland’s diverse population profile of dense, dispersed and isolated populations and a broad variety of potential man-made and natural threats (e.g., coastal cyclones, bushfires, house fires, traffic accidents, floods, severe storms and other similar threats).
