Tender Overview

Invitation to Tender: QRP-23-82 – Provision of Vegetation Management Services – South West Queensland (SWQ) & between Gympie to Gladstone

OVERVIEW OF SERVICES

Queensland Rail is an integrated passenger and rail infrastructure business that provides commuter, long distance and tourist passenger rail services across the State of Queensland, Australia. As part of that railway operation, Queensland Rail has approximately 1,850km of corridor area within regional South West Queensland.

Vegetation management within the rail corridor has financial, social and environmental implications. Maintenance of vegetation needs to be done as economically as possible, without causing unnecessary environmental damage and without impacting on the rights and requirements of adjoining landholders and other interested and affected parties.

Queensland Rail is seeking Suppliers to tender their services for the provision of Vegetation Management Services in the following regions within South West Queensland (SWQ), and between Gympie and Gladstone:

•          The Western Line between Charleville and Miles in SWQ;

•          The West Moreton Line between Miles and Rosewood in SWQ;

•          The South Western Line between Thallon and Wallangarra in SWQ;

•          The North Coast Line between Tamaree and Bundaberg; and

•          The North Coast Line between Bundaberg and Parana.

Please refer to the Scope of Works specification document for further information.
