Tender Overview

Forward Procurement Schedule 

​This is a forward notification for an upcoming tender release for proposals for the provision of commercial Pest Management Services for Queensland Rail at various locations across the state rail network. 

Depending on requirements these goods / services specifically include:

  • Scope of services is to be for the preventative treatment measures for & removal of:
    • General pests (cockroaches, silverfish, wasps, hornets, insects, ants, fleas/lice, mites, flies, midgies, spiders) 
    • Bed bugs on rollingstock (conducted in Brisbane & Cairns)
    • Rodents
    • Birds
    • Possums
    • Termites
    • Fire Ants (South East Queensland)
  • Requirement will be for "full service" capability offering at various administration buildings, workshops, depots and yards.
  • The tender is to be packaged into network segments to enable bids for one or multiple segments
  • Queensland Rail’s Contractor Safety and Environment (CSEM) Pre-Qualification Level 2 will be required for some locations, including:
    • South East Queensland
    • Rollingstock treatment
