Tender Overview

The Department of Child Safety, Seniors and Disability Services and Multicultural Affairs invites qualified suppliers to submit offers for the development and delivery of an Innovative pilot response for young Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander mothers at risk of homelessness.

For details of the requirement, please review the documents available in the Departmebt's tender and contract management platform P2i.

- Suppliers can register in P2i, following the instructions through - P2i (dcssds.qld.gov.au)

 

It is a Mandatory Requirement that the successful supplier must be an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander community-controlled organisation. An Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community-controlled organisation must have the following characteristics:

- Majority of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people on the Board, elected by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander members
- Decision making only by a majority of Aboriginal and Torres Strait members
- The organisation is responsible and accountable to the community
- Controlled and operated by Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander peoples
- Rules prevent property distribution to members, and
- Actively provides services and benefits to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

Evidence that the supplier is an ACCO must be provided by submission of either of the following documents:
