Homes for Queenslanders - Expression of Interest - Design Consultants
Expressions of Interest are sought from qualified Design Consultants who have the appropriate experience, skills, capability and interest in designing Homes for Queenslanders.
By responding to this Expression of Interest, Consultants are expressing their interest to be shortlisted for inclusion in a Request for Offer for this Program of works, spanning the next four (4) years, 2024 to 2028. Please download the documentation and provide your response, by the close date, through this advertisement.

Delivering our Big Build
The Queensland Government has been investing at record levels since 2015. We have delivered more than 5,000 social homes, and we’re not stopping. As part of Queensland’s housing overhaul, though Homes for Queenslanders we’ll deliver 53,500 new social homes by 2046. To meet this target, we’ll provide $1.25 billion over the next 5 years to contribute to a ramp up to more than 2,000 social homes every year from 2028.
The Department of Housing, Local Government, Planning and Public Works (HLGPPW) is responsible for delivering the Homes for Queenslanders Capital Construction Program (the Program).
The Program provides a strong investment across Queensland, stimulating local economies. It will deliver developments that respond to the changing needs of communities, while supporting the individual Queensland households who look to social housing as a safety net.
QBuild in partnership with the Social Housing Delivery Office (SHDO), delivers a significant volume of Capital Works Projects under this Program each year.
To support the delivery of this program QBuild need to engage appropriately qualified design professionals (Principal Design Consultant) and a number of specialist sub-consultants to develop the design based on a design brief.
