The Queensland Government is seeking proposals for a contractor to undertake flood and local drainage modelling for Hope Vale Aboriginal Shire Council (HVASC). This project will investigate the township to fully understand local drainage, including the surrounding low-lying areas; review areas of the community which are potentially inundated/flooded in the wet; current drainage channels and swamps and their direction of flow; and inundation timelines for when and how water floods Hope Vale.
