Section 1

Tender Overview

The Department of Transport and Main Roads (RoadTek) is establishing an Arrangement for the provision of Temporary Traffic Management Services and Traffic Management Design Services for static, mobile, and short-term low-impact engagements in various locations across Queensland.

The invitation will source:
1. ‘local suppliers’ who comply with the Queensland Traffic Controller Accreditation Scheme Approved Procedure and must be currently registered as a traffic management organisation under the Traffic Management Registration Scheme (Department of Transport and Main Roads) (tmr.qld.gov.au);
2. suitably qualified ‘local workforce’ personnel as Traffic Controllers (TCs), Traffic Management Implementers (TMIs) and Traffic Management Designers (TMDs) to prepare Traffic Management Plans (TMPs), Traffic Guidance Schemes (TGSs) and personnel who can be nominated as Nominated Traffic Officers (NTOs) and must be currently registered as a traffic management organisation under the Traffic Management Registration Scheme (Department of Transport and Main Roads) (tmr.qld.gov.au);
3. organisations with suitably qualified personnel that holds Traffic Management Design qualification and provides traffic management design services. If the Offeror is not registered with the Traffic Management Registration Scheme and does not provide operational traffic control or site set-up services.

An Industry Briefing Session will be held online via Microsoft TEAMS and is scheduled for Monday, 16 June 2025 @ 10:00am.
