Tender Overview

A vacant room within the Engineering and Innovation Place Building has been designated to accommodate future staff and meeting room needs. This space will support two disciplines: "Research & Innovation Services" and "Partnerships & Engagement". Staff from Research and Innovation Services will be relocated from Science Place (Building 142), Level 3, Rooms 310, 312, and 313 to the new Industry Engagement Space upon completion.

This project aims to establish a new Industry Engagement Space within Building 506, Level 1, Room 104 of the Engineering and Innovation Place. The space will include 16 staff desks, two VC rooms, two focus rooms, a print/store room, a large meeting room for up to eight people with audio-visual equipment, a collaborative lounge, and other informal meeting areas. The staff desks will primarily be in an open-plan layout, with newly constructed rooms positioned internally. The design will be adapted to fit the existing space as efficiently as possible, utilising existing electrical, lighting, data, and mechanical services wherever feasible.

The Principal Contractor will oversee the fit-out works in accordance with the approved plans and documentation prepared by Tippet Schrock, the Principal Design Consultant and their subconsultants.
